One of Britain’s biggest breakthrough solo artists in recent years will perform at Market Rasen Racecourse for the first time this summer.

Chart topper Jess Glynne has been announced as headlining ‘An Evening At The Races’ on August 13, following on from last year’s successful event which saw Sir Tom Jones play to a record-breaking crowd.

The event will also feature six races before the main attraction, with gates opening at 3pm.

Jess burst onto the scene as the vocalist on Clean Bandit’s Grammy Award winning and number one hit ‘Rather Be’.

Since then, she released her debut album, ‘I Cry When I Laugh’, which went to number one in the charts.

Jess has been nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Female Solo Artist and British Single for ‘Hold My Hand’ at the upcoming BRIT Awards.

Tickets are on pre-sale from 8am on Wednesday, February 17 and will go on general sale at 9am on Friday, February 19.
