Appeal to find hit-and-run driver who left Lincolnshire mum with life-changing injuries

Lincolnshire Police are continuing their search for a driver involved in a hit-and-run which left a mum-of-two with injuries she may never recover from.

The 27-year-old woman was walking in Chapel St Leonards with her dog and two children aged just 18 months and two and a half when she was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The hit-and-run heading west on St Leonard’s Drive near to the junction with Palmer Court occurred shortly before 1pm on Monday, February 29.

The woman was able to continue walking for a few metres to call for help and was later taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

She is now recovering at home but suffered a number of fractures and may be left with permanent injuries.
