Police name young pedestrian killed in A153 lorry crash

Fatal crash victim: A local man who was sadly killed when he was hit by a lorry on the A153 in Lincolnshire has been named by police.

A local man who was sadly killed when he was hit by a lorry on the A153 in Lincolnshire has been named by police as 23-year-old Frazer Armitage from Sleaford.

The incident happened at around 2am on Saturday, February 27 between Anwick and Speedway corner near Ruskington.

Frazer had been on foot when he was hit by a Volvo heavy goods vehicle (HGV) driven by a 32-year-old Ruskington man.

He died at the scene.

The crash was the 14th fatal incident on Lincolnshire’s roads in 2016, a figure that has been dubbed the worst two months for lives lost in a decade.
