The house fire which killed three men at the weekend in Lincolnshire is ‘not suspicious,’ police said.

The victims of the fire were three adult males, but formal identification is yet to take place.

Police are still looking to trace next of kin for the three men killed in the fire.

The first two bodies were discovered after firefighters were called out to the blaze at the house on Tower Lane, off Cowbit Road in Spalding just after midnight on May 1.

The next day a third body was discovered after fire investigators were able to enter the building safely.

Lincolnshire Police did not say what was the cause of the fire, only that it was not suspicious.

A file will be prepared for the Coroner in due course.
