Six people and horse seriously injured in five-vehicle A17 Lincolnshire crash

A number of people and a horse are being treated for injuries after a serious five-vehicle collision on the A17 between Brant Broughton and Leadenham. A number of people and a horse are being treated for injuries after a serious five-vehicle collision on the A17 between Brant Broughton and Leadenham.

The road will be closed for a “considerable amount of time” following the crash.

Emergency services attended the scene of the crash, which happened at around 10.42am on Monday, June 20.

Six people have been injured and three of those are thought to be serious. Those three will be taken to Queens Medical Centre.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson on the scene said there are “several injured parties” being treated and that a horse had also been injured.

Emergency services are at the scene at the time of writing.

The road is closed between the junction with Brant Broughton/Stragglethorpe and the B6403 High Dyke junction with Cranwell.
