Police name woman, 89, killed in Lincolnshire crash

Officers investigating the death of an 89-year-old after a crash this weekend in Lincolnshire have identified her as local woman Sybil Bush.

As reported previously, the collision took place just after midday on Stanhope Road, Horncastle on Sunday, June 5.

Only a Nissan car is said to have been involved in the fatal incident, and reports  have indicated the victim may have been hit by a car driven by her husband, 91.

Police confirmed the victim to be 89-year-old Sybil from the local area as investigations continued on Tuesday, June 7.
