Producers on Lincoln location hunt to complete debut film

Production company, Bearing 305 Productions are scouting for locations in Lincoln to use for the final elements of their thriller feature film: ‘Lost In The Shadows’.

It is the debut feature film for writers/ directors Luke Gosling, who lives in Lincoln and studied Model Design at the University of Hertfordshire and Sean Brown, who studied Media Production at the University of Lincoln, both 34.

The teaser trailer for the film, which had a budget of £6,000, has already been released and awaits a final week of filming in August in locations around Lincoln.

The duo look to enter the film into the festival circuit for distribution in Winter, 2016.

Luke said: “We have filmed about 70% over a two week filming period predominately in York with some interiors in Lincoln.

“Our final week filming is in August and we are currently scouting for locations in Lincoln to use, rural exteriors, a pub and a multi story car park.

“Once complete we aim to enter the film into festivals with the goal of gaining distribution.”

In the film, journalist, James Lincoln is assigned to report on witness accounts, linking with myths and urban legends. He finds the centuries old folklore which links to the occult, known as Thirty.

During his investigation into the Thirty and disappearances in the rural village of Herg, James’ pregnant fiancée Harriet, who has joined him for the weekend, vanishes during the night.

James desperately tries to find Harriet and uncover the truth behind the folklore, but is met with suspicion from all those he comes into contact with, leading him down a dangerous road of discovery.
