Motorcyclist dies in two-vehicle crash in Lincolnshire

A motorcyclist has died at the scene of a crash with a car near Spilsby.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the collision on the A16 at Keal Cotes at 5.38pm on Thursday, July 14.

A blue Rover 25 driven by a local man and a white Suzuki motorbike ridden by a man from the Oakham area were involved in the collision.

Sadly, the 52-year-old motorcyclist died at the scene.

Lincolnshire Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Sergeant Chris Dennett, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We really need to speak to anyone who saw either vehicle travelling towards Keal Cotes prior to the collision, or the collision itself.

“I’d appeal to any witnesses to please get in touch.”
