A motorcyclist who was injured in a crash in Boston last week has sadly died in hospital, bringing the number of people killed in Lincolnshire road incidents in 2016 to 31.

The 21 year-old man was riding the motorbike on Tower Road at around 6.30pm on Thursday, July 7 when he was involved in the collision with a Mazda and a BMW.

He was airlifted to hospital with serious injures.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that the biker died from his injuries in hospital on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 13.

Any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, are asked to ring 101, quoting incident number 349 of July 7.
