Late night Lincoln bar Brewhaus has now officially closed its doors to make way for a new all-you-can-eat Brazilian restaurant.

Originally expected to open at the end of May, plans for the new restaurant Tiago were delayed due to the venue being a Grade II listed building.

Planning permission has now been granted and the restaurant is expected to open at the beginning of September.

As previously reported, Tiago will offer diners a limitless experience where waiters will bring food to them for as long as they are hungry.

The venue will still include a late night bar, which will have many similarities to Brewhaus including a range of cocktails and world beers.

Staff from Brewhaus are currently in training in preparation for the opening. Around 20-25 new jobs will also be created.

Robbie Dowdall, General Manager of Brewhaus, said: “Due to the building being Grade II listed, there was a delay in planning sadly. But thankfully we have been granted permission and are now cracking on with the new restaurant.

“I would like to thank all our customers over the period of the Brewhaus and invite all of our previous customers and new ones to Tiago.”
