One of Lincolnshire’s most influential politicians will be answering your questions on topics ranging from Brexit to tourism in a live web chat next week.

Lincolnshire county councillor Colin Davie will be at The Lincolnite offices from midday on Monday, August 15, with the live video chat scheduled for around half an hour.

The web chat will be live streamed to over 72,000 people on The Lincolnite Facebook page and shared on our sister publication, Lincolnshire Reporter.

For those unable to watch the chat live, a short highlights video will be produced later in the day.

Councillor Davie has an extensive portfolio at Lincolnshire County Council, responsible for economic development, environment, strategic planning and tourism.

He played a pivotal role in the memorable Magna Carta celebrations last year, and has championed the new-look Lincoln Castle which opened to visitors on April 1, 2015 after a £22 million restoration.

The Conservative councillor was also one of the county’s loudest voices in arguing for the UK to vote to Leave the European Union.
