Lincolnshire Police have officially named the car driver and motorcyclist who died in a crash near Market Rasen.

Motorist Paul Boden, 60, from the Grimsby area and motorcyclist Phillip Smith, 42, from the Market Rasen area died in the collision on the A46, Caistor Road on Sunday, August 7 at around 4.40pm.

Police confirmed on the morning of Monday, August 8 that the two people had not survived their injuries.

The latest tragedies brings the number of deaths on Lincolnshire’s roads to 37 this year.

Anyone with information regarding the collision, who has not already done so, is being asked to call 101, quoting incident number 353 of August 7.
