The new Wildwood restaurant is set to open its doors on August 26 after more than a year of planning and development on Lincoln High Street.

The restaurant has had a complete refit to turn the former Mall into a family friendly restaurant with a children’s play area and private cinema, creating 30 new jobs.

Wildwood, which already has 40 eateries around the country, decided to make the move to Lincoln due to its growing prominence.

The site has been stripped back to basics and rebuilt, providing not just a brand new purpose build interior, but new frontage too.

The private cinema room can be rented for private functions and is fitted out with 24 two seater sofas for ‘couple cuddles’ and there is a candy floss and popcorn machine to really get customers into the cinema experience.

The site also boasts an impressive deli selling home made products and ingredients.

Colin Gibson, General Manager of Wildwood Lincoln, said: “It’s an extremely exciting opportunity for Lincoln and the growth of the city.

“We are able to open up a really good value, family-fun and interesting restaurant where you can bring your kids.

“It’s great for a date night on a Thursday when we have our cinema offer.

“Even if it’s coming up to Christmas and you’re looking for gifts, you can find truffles and truffle oils in the deli. All made by ourselves in our central kitchen with fresh local produce.

“It brings multiple sites into one place. You can spend hours here.”
