A customer is believed to have downed a bottle of wine in a Lincoln petrol station, before walking out with paying.

Lincolnshire Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with the alleged theft at the Wragby Road service station. on August 23.

The woman has blonde hair, wore dark rimmed glasses, a black vest top, three quarter length trousers and sandals.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We believe that a bottle of wine was consumed by a customer who then left without making any attempt to pay and we believe this woman might be able to help our investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the woman should call Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 247 of August 24.
