The boss of the trust in charge of mental health services in Lincolnshire will face questions live from readers of The Lincolnite on Wednesday, September 28.

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Chief Executive John Brewin will join the news team for a lunchtime web chat which will be live streamed from around midday.

The interview, which will last around half an hour, will be available to watch on the Facebook page here, as well as shared on the page of our sister publication Lincolnshire Reporter.

Highlights of the interview will also be available to watch back later that day.

Dr Brewin was appointed as the trust’s CEO in July 2014 with an extensive career history of leadership with past roles including associate medical director and clinical director of other organisations.

The trust, established in 2002, is responsible for specialist health services for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems.

Care is provided to around 718,800 people and the trust employs around 2,000 members of staff across disciplined of mental health, learning disability and social care.

In April this year, inspectors from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated LPFT as ‘inadequate’ at keeping patients safe and gave the trust an overall score of “requires improvement”.
