More than 2,500 Santas flowed through the streets of uphill Lincoln as part of the city’s annual charity Santa Fun Run and Walk.

Joined by over 200 festively dressed pooches, the Santas formed a sea of red and white on Sunday, December 11, to complete the course in the Cathedral Quarter.

For the first time, the title sponsor for the event was the University of Lincoln.

Ray Peters, organiser of this year’s event on behalf of the Rotary Club of Lincoln Colonia, said: “This is one of the biggest fundraising events on the calendar for Lincoln. It’s a very important event.”
