Following a significant investment, the site will be refurbished and restructured to seat between 70-90 people, serving traditional Turkish and Mediterranean dishes.

Mr Yilmaz, who has been a professional chef for London-based restaurant Sofra for many years, said: “This is our first project. It’s going to be traditional Turkish food made on a wooden charcoal grill.

“I believe in quality. There will be so many speciality dishes. It’s mainly all natural food, all made by us.

“Currently, Lincoln doesn’t have a Turkish restaurant and we want to bring those traditional Turkish Mediterranean dinners to the city.”

Banks Long & Co surveyor Harriet Hatcher said: “We are delighted to complete this letting and wish the new tenants all the best. It is nice to see block of properties fully let.”
