One of the most talked about contestants on this year’s X Factor, recruitment consultant turned rapper Honey G, will be making her way to Lincoln for a special performance.

Promoters of the show, which will take place at Home nightclub on Tuesday, January 24 from 10pm, expect it to be a sell out guest appearance.

Honey G, (real name Anna Gilford), became one of the show’s more controversial contestants, with many viewers questioning whether the act was a joke character.

The artist, recognised for her trademark cap and sunglasses, this week revealed that she had bagged a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco.

Her first single, The Honey G Show, will be released on December 23.

Jack Wilson, promoter at Major Label, said: “She was the talk of this years X Factor. Love her or hate her she definitely knows how to create a party atmosphere and we’re excited to bring her to Lincoln as part of her UK tour!”
