A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the arm in Lincoln.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed in the arm in Lincoln.

Lincolnshire Police say they have now arrested a 22-year-old man following the assault, which took place on Archer Street, off Portland Street, at 2.05pm on Wednesday, January 11.

As previously reported, police and Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene following reports of a fight.

Police vehicle on Charles Street, across the road from where officers are investigating the incident.

They closed the road for a number of hours to collect forensic evidence.

A man was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with a stab wound to his arm. Police said his condition is described as serious.

The 22-year-old who was arrested by officers remains in custody at the time of writing.
