Lincoln man dies in crash near Boston

A 22-year-old man from the Lincoln area has died in a three-car crash on the A1121 in the early hours of Saturday, February 11.

He was driving a grey Ford Focus and was travelling from the Bracebridge area of Lincoln with two other vehicles in convoy — a black Ford Focus and a black Ford Fiesta.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the scene of the crash at Boardsides on the route into Boston at 1.30am.

Lane closures on the A1121 remain in place while investigators are on scene.

Drivers of other two cars arrested

Two people, who were driving the other vehicles and aged 22 and 28, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

There was a passenger in the grey Focus who also sustained minor injuries.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for any motorists who were travelling between Lincoln and Boston at this time, or any witnesses to the collision itself to call 101 quoting incident 21 of February 11.
