Leader of the City of Lincoln Council Councillor Ric Metcalfe will be joining The Lincolnite for a live web chat facing readers’ questions on Friday, February 3.

The Labour leader oversees the running and decisions of the city council, which is responsible for roles including council tax, bin collections, housing, transport schemes and development projects; such as the ongoing Lincoln Transport Hub project.

Councillor Metcalfe will be taking part in the ‘hot seat’  interview from 12 noon on Friday, speaking about topics such as the council’s vision for the city and key projects, as well as local talking points like proposals for a county unitary authority.

The interview will be live streamed on The Lincolnite‘s Facebook page, where there is a community of over 77,000 readers.

Highlights will then be available to watch back later that afternoon.
