Henry’s Tea Room will now close at the same time as Ruddocks of Lincoln on April 15 due to access after the store’s closure.
A post on the tea room’s Facebook page announced that despite original plans for it to remain open, it will now close at the same time as the store.
As previously reported, Ruddocks of Lincoln announced its closure last week after trading for over 160 years.
Manageress, Tracy Laws wrote on Henry’s Tea Room’s Facebook page: “As many of you will already know that Ruddocks of Lincoln will be closing its doors for the final time on April 15. The decision unfortunately has now been taken that Henry’s Tea Room will also close at the same time.
“Henry’s opened four years ago and has gone from strength to strength but due to its upstairs location we believe we could not survive without the shop entrance and disabled access.
“As manager I could not have asked for a better team and nicer customers.
“All staff members have given above and beyond what has been expected of them and I will miss them all greatly.
“Of course if any employers are looking for loyal, dedicated, hardworking and talented staff then please feel free to contact us!
“I will be contacting anyone who has a booking with us after April 15 and if you have an Afternoon Tea voucher please book in asap as refunds can not be given.
“Many thanks for all your loyal custom over the years and we hope to see you all before we close.”
