Lincolnshire Sport chief executive, Janet Inman is set to leave the organisation this summer after seven years at the helm.

Janet has spent 17 years at the organisation, increasing participation in sport across the county and helping to get more people, more active, more often.

In a statement, she said that the reason for her departure was to look for a fresh challenge.

Janet said: “I have had a tremendous 17 years at Lincolnshire Sport in various roles and now feels the right time to look for a fresh challenge.

“I would like to thank past and present staff and board members at Lincolnshire Sport for their hard work and support.”

Dan Ellmore, acting chair of Lincolnshire Sport, added: “On behalf of the board and everyone at Lincolnshire Sport I would like to thank Janet for her inspirational leadership over the last seven years.

“She has been an innovator and has ensured that Lincolnshire Sport is one of the most highly regarded County Sports Partnerships in the country.

“I will now be working with the rest of the board to find a new Chief Executive that can help us to deliver the new vision for Lincolnshire.”
