Fire crews used rescue equipment to free two casualties after a crash in the village of Harmston south of Lincoln.

The collision, which involved a van and a BMW, happened at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, April 18 on Station Road.

Police say a man and woman from one of the vehicles were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Crews from Waddington and Lincoln South were in attendance.

Drivers in the area faced long delays while the road was cleared.
