Warning after spike in car and shed break-ins on Lincoln Ermine estate

Incidents linked: Police have issued a warning after an increase in thefts from sheds and cars.

Police have issued a warning to residents in the Ermine area of Lincoln after an increase in thefts from shed and vehicles.

Thefts from vehicles have taken place on Keddington Avenue, Woburn Avenue and Stapleford Court in which windows have been smashed.

Loose change, a wallet, a dash cam and a sat nav have been stolen.

Anyone who parks vehicles in the area is being reminded to ensure valuables are not left on show.

During the same period, entry was also forced into four sheds on Greyling View, however nothing was taken.

Officers believe the incidents could be linked and extra patrols of the area will take place.
