Five Lincoln homes have been targeted by burglars within a 24-hour period over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Lincolnshire Police are now investigating the burglaries, where a number of items including laptops, mobiles and wallets were stolen.

Bernard Street

Police were called after a laptop and wallet was stolen from a property on Bernard Street on May 28.

It is believed that the thieves gained entry through an unlocked door.

McInnes Street

A laptop was stolen from a property on McInnes Street on May 29.

The burglars gained entry to the property through an open window.

Monks Road

A number of items were stolen from a property on Monks Road between Vine Street and Arboretum Avenue on May 29.

Thieves gained entry through an insecure window and stole a MacBook Pro and an I-Pad.
