Michael McIntyre’s Lincoln gig rescheduled due to ill health

Rescheduled show: Michael McIntyre had to cancel his Lincoln show yesterday due to ill health.

TV comedian Michael McIntyre was forced to reschedule his gig at New Theatre Royal yesterday evening due to ill health.

The theatre received a call at 10.30am on Monday, May 1 from Michael’s agent informing them of his virus.

The show has now been rescheduled to Monday, June 5, however those who bought a ticket and cannot make the new date can receive a full refund.

A spokesperson for the theatre posted on their Facebook page: “We have managed to reschedule a date for Monday, June 5 at 8pm and can confirm we will hold reserved seats for this new scheduled date.

“We will make every effort to contact all ticket holders via phone and email.

“We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We look forward to welcoming you to the New Theatre Royal on the new scheduled date.

“If you have any queries or concerns please call our box office on 01522 519999 from 10am.”
