East Midlands Trains staff along with Lincoln Town Crier Karen Crow launched a new Lincoln to Nottingham train timetable over the weekend.

The new East Midlands Trains timetable for services between Lincoln Central, Newark Castle and Nottingham was launched on Sunday, May 21 and will bring earlier and more frequent trains between stations.

The updated service will provide benefits for customers including:

  • New hourly services for the majority of the day.
  • First service from Lincoln Central to Nottingham will now leave at 0847 instead of the previous earliest time which was at 1508.
  • First service from Newark Castle to Nottingham will now leave at 0929 instead of the previous earliest time which was at 1550.
  • First service from Nottingham to Lincoln will now leave at 0930 instead of the previous earliest time which was at 1529.
