A charity scooter day taking place in Lincoln this weekend is raising money for the family of a young woman who was killed in the suicide bombing at the Manchester Arena.

The event will take place on June 3 at the Gatehouse, Newark Road and will include a variety of entertainment and fundraisers.

Olivia Campbell, 15, was a member of Bolton’s Skin City Scooter Club before being one of the 22 casualties at Manchester Arena.

Event organiser Andy Hutchinson announced on the event’s Facebook page that the money raised will go to the Olivia Campbell fund.

He said: “This year we will be raising money for the Olivia Campbell fund, the young lady that sadly lost her life in the Manchester bombing.

“Her parents are members of the Skin City Scooter Club, Bolton. Please support this event and let’s raise a good amount for them.Thank you.”

The Charity Scooter Day started last year in Nettleham though after the success they found a different venue.

There will also be live music from Paul Jackson, Trevor Rose and The Tarrantinos with the event starting at 1pm.
