Lincolnshire Police have appointed current CEO for the Police and Crime Commissioner in Devon and Cornwall Andrew White, as their new Assistant Chief Officer.

Andrew will have the responsibility for a range of corporate departments and be a member of the executive team.

Chief Constable Bill Skelly said: “I am delighted that Andrew has agreed to join us in Lincolnshire.

“He has worked within policing over the last decade and has a very strong track record in delivering collaboration and other strategic policing goals.

“Prior to Devon and Cornwall, he was the Director of Corporate Services for Ofsted where he led the corporate functions in a large national public sector organisation.

“I have appointed Andrew on a two year contract as I am keen to quickly drive forward the many challenging and exciting agendas that we are all dealing with.

“I know that Andrew has a real passion that policing is delivered to high standards and that police officers and staff work with the best systems, structures and processes to help them do a great job.”

Andrew will take up the post on June 19.
