Struggling to think of family-friendly things to do this summer? Tourism company Visit Lincoln has re-launched a comprehensive guide for activities in the city.

Lincoln Loves Kids is a summer brochure which promotes fun experiences in Lincoln for family day breaks.

The initiative appeared last summer after agreeing partnerships between Visit Lincoln, Lincoln Mums and Lincolnshire County Council’s Heritage Services.

The 2017 brochure was launched at the Lincolnshire Show and 15,000 copies are to be stocked across the city.

Clare Williams, business development manager at Visit Lincoln, said: “If you know a budding history hunter or outdoor explorer who needs entertaining, or want to find out what clubs and classes are available, just pick up the free 2017 Lincoln Loves Kids brochure.

“All 40 pages are crammed full of ideas for places to visit, experiences you can enjoy as a family and the best places for child friendly food stops. As well as swimming classes, messy play sessions and baby massage.”

Inside the brochure there is also a chance to win a two-night family break in Lincoln with tickets for for Castle and Cathedral included and accommodation is provided.
