St Barnabas Hospice raised over £15,000 after 170 competitions took part in their It’s a Knockout Fundraiser.

The event took place on Saturday, July 15, at Washingborough Playing Fields as teams from across the county tackled the inflatable obstacle course.

This was the seventh annual fundraiser of this type.

Event Fundraiser for St Barnabas Hospice, Laura Stones, said: ““I am absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of money raised from this year’s It’s a Knockout.

“The money raised will help to support hundreds of families across Lincolnshire who are living with a life limiting or terminal illness.

“We are already planning next year’s event at Washingborough, which will be slightly different to It’s a Knockout but still be as fun and wacky as this fundraiser.

“My sincere gratitude goes to everyone who took part in the games and to everyone who came along to show their support. A huge thank you must also goes to our generous volunteers who gave up their time to ensure the success of this event.”

Waterside Shopping Centre, Siemens and Starglaze Windows were just a selection of teams that helped raise the five-figure sum.
