A member of staff at a Lincoln betting shop was threatened with a knife by a robber who made off with cash in the Ermine area of Lincoln.

The armed robbery took place at the Betfred shop on Woodhall Drive and was reported to police at 4.40pm on Tuesday, July 11.

The weapon was pulled out on a member of staff inside and money was stolen.

Police area currently investigating.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery or has information to call 101 quoting incident 340 of July 11.

Police have not reported any injuries as a result of the incidents, or any arrests.
