A bus driver and child have been injured in a crash involving a bus on the A46 near Lincoln.

As reported previously, emergency responses were called to a crash involving a double decker bus and a car on the A46 Lincoln Road near to the Dunholme junction at around 4.10pm on Tuesday, July 4.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said the driver of the bus and one child suffered minor injuries. The driver and passenger of a Vauxhall Merica has also been noted as having minor injuries.

An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 4.03, we also had an ambulance crew at the scene at the same time the call was being made as they were passing.

“The caller reported a road traffic collision between a car and a bus.

“We sent a Community First Responder (CFR), an off duty paramedic responder, a paramedic on a car and three ambulances.

“Three patients were taken to hospital.”
