A Lincoln-based police officer is to face a fast track misconduct hearing this morning over allegations that he sent inappropriate text messages to women.

The hearing for Police Constable Julian Minton takes place at the Lincolnshire Police Headquarters in Nettleham on Monday, July 31.

Attendees will hear allegations that he sent out a number of inappropriate text messages to female members of the public.

It is alleged that Police Constable Minton breached the following standards of professional behaviour:

  • Authority, respect and courtesy
  • Equality and diversity
  • Discreditable conduct

The identity of victims/witnesses will be protected throughout the hearing.
