Nathan Huntington has been charged with the armed robbery of a Lincoln bookmakers, as well as a number of other theft offences.

Police issued an appeal to trace the 24-year-old after a member of staff at the Betfred on the Ermine estate in Lincoln was threatened with a knife. The robber then fled the store with a quantity of cash.

The armed robbery was reported at the Betfred on the Ermine estate in Lincoln.

Huntington, of no fixed address, appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court after a cross-border police search and appeal this morning.

He was charged with the following:

  • Robbery at Betfret, Woodhall Drive in Lincoln on the July 11
  • Robbery at Ladbrokes, Queen Street in Mansfield on July 13
  • Theft from a property in Lincoln, Woodhall Drive between July 4 and 11

He has been remanded to court.
