With Lincolnshire’s largest automotive festival just a couple of weeks away, The Lincolnite has put together a list of 10 things to see at this year’s Pistons in the Park event.

Pistons in the Park, a one day festival celebrating all things automotive organised by Stonebow Media, is set to be the largest event of its kind in Lincolnshire and will take place at Lincolnshire Showground on Saturday, August 12.

1. Range Rover Velar

Stop by the Duckworth Land Rover stand to see the brand new 2017 Velar, only recently launched — a great opportunity to see the new model in the flesh.


2. The Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain

A selection of cars will be coming from the Ferrari Owners Club to create an informal display that every piston head is sure to enjoy.


3. Tokyo Nights

An entire exhibition hall filled with hot Japanese metal from Skylines to Supras.

Even if you weren’t a fan of Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift you’ll definitely enjoy this unique display.


4. Supercar Passenger Rides

The Sporting Bears club are bringing a variety of performance cars that you are able to experience as a passenger in return for a charitable donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Just look out for The Stig who will be on hand to help!


5. Picnic in the Park

Take a break to enjoy a picnic or some delicious food from the catering village as you walk around our huge site, you’ll have your daily steps completed in no time!

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes!


6. Ferrari Enzo

Stop by the Monarch Enterprises display to see a Ferrari Enzo, one of only 399 in the world.

This £1 million+ automobile is not only an incredibly rare sight but a breathtakingly beautiful one too.


7. No replacement for displacement

With big American cars come big American engines. This display of Americana is sure to tingle all the senses. Be sure to listen out for when the engines start to rumble on the American Muscle display.


8. Tesla

Look into the future of motoring: Tesla will be showcasing their Model X and Model S electric cars on stand number 10.


9. Giant Tortoises

Pistons in the Park is a family event and something the kids will remember for a long time is the chance to meet and interact with the amazing Aldabra Giant Tortoises by the picnic area.


10. Live acts on the Dack Motor Group stage

See some fantastic acts perform live on stage throughout the day including the acoustic tones of Lauren April and the foot tapping The Rockin’ Beats who are sure to get you moving!
