Hundreds of classics, supercars and custom cars were on show at the first Pistons in the Park automotive festival in Lincoln.

The first Pistons in the Park automotive festival attracted more than 2,500 people to the Lincolnshire Showground in Lincoln on Saturday, August 12.

Petrol heads from across the region attended the event which showcased hundreds of automobiles from all over the world.

Exhibitions from motorbikes to supercars took place throughout the day and live music acts also entertained the visitors in the food court.

Dean Graham, Events Director at Stonebow Media, said: “The level of support we’ve had for this first event has just been fantastic. To have the number and quality of vehicles that were on display — including a Ferrari Enzo, Aston Martin DB5 and an original AC Cobra amongst many other rare vehicles — really made the event an amazing starting point to grow on in future years.

“Next year we’re looking to add far more attractions and more to do for families, but our main goal is to put on live motorsport action to add a new dynamic to the event.

“We’d like to thank all the exhibitors, sponsors and trade stands that helped make this first event happen, with a very special thank you to Duckworth Jaguar Land Rover and Monarch Enterprises for all of their support.”

Here are some of the highlights from the event:
