Three masked offenders attempt to rob man walking Staffy on Lincoln bridge

Police are attempting to trace the victim.

Police are appealing for the victim of an attempted robbery in Lincoln to come forward.

Three masked offenders approached a man walking his dog, believed to be a Staffy-type breed, across the pedestrian bridge over the rail track leading to the temporary bus station.

The attempted robbery on “the blue bridge” happened at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, August 9.

Witnesses have told police that the victim was threatened but refused to hand anything over.

A police spokesperson said: “We would like to appeal to the victim to come forward and assist with our investigation and to anyone else with relevant information.”
