Weather forecast: Lincoln set for warm bank holiday weekend

It looks pretty good weather for the bank holiday.

Temperatures are set to rise over the bank holiday weekend in Lincoln – although it may be a bit cloudy.

According to the Met Office, highs of 24°C will be recorded in the city on Monday, August 28.

The week’s forecast is looking promising overall with most days showing as dry but cloudy and temperatures gradually climbing up to Bank Holiday Monday.

Met Office forecasters say the city will be full of warm sunny spells throughout the weekend.

Chief forecasters said: “On Saturday, August 26 early cloud and any rain will clear eastwards leaving dry conditions with sunny spells.

“A scattering of light showers is possible during the afternoon, with most areas escaping these. Maximum temperature 23°C.

“It will be dry with warm sunny spells and light winds on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.”
