Aviation enthusiasts descend on Bomber County for Day 2 of Scampton Airshow 2017

Another successful day at Scampton Airshow:

Thousands more visitors flocked to Lincolnshire for the second and final day of the inaugural Scampton Airshow.

The event at RAF Scampton over the weekend of September 9 and 10 saw both static and flying displays from a a whole host of impressive aircraft including Lincolnshire’s very own Red Arrows.

This was the first airshow to be held in Lincolnshire since the Waddington Airshow in 2014.

Throughout the event there was a five-hour flying display, with the likes of the Breitling Wingwalkers, the BAC Strikemasters and an OV-10B Bronco taking centre stage.
