A £6.5 million apartment development exclusively for the over 55s is on track for a February 2018 completion adjacent to Boultham Park in Lincoln.

The development, dubbed Home Grange, comprising 36 one and two-bedroom apartments, is located off Boultham Park Road, north east of the 50-acre park.

It will also include managed services, mobility scooter store, homeowners’ lounge, guest suite and communal gardens.

Work has already begun on the site with the first show apartments expected to be ready for viewing in the next two weeks.

Keystone Developments – part of the Longhurst Group – is working in partnership with Gusto Construction and architects SGA to deliver the scheme.

The development is expected to be completed for February 2018.

Developers release artist impressions of the new apartment buildings, where properties will go on the market from £150.000 for a one bedroomed and £165,000 for two bedroom apartments.

Ben Sykes, new homes agent at Pygott & Crone, the agents marketing the new development, said: “We already have a list of almost 150 interested potential buyers for the £6.2 million scheme.

“What is really excellent about Home Grange is that there will be a managed service element – with a scheme manager service, mobility scooter store and on-site parking available.

“There will also be an impressive homeowners’ lounge and relaxed, landscaped communal gardens to enjoy the social element of living in an apartment complex like this. There is also a guest suite facility for friends and family to book when they come to stay.”

“Each of the luxurious spacious apartments benefit from a modern gas central heating system, plush fitted carpets, contemporary designed kitchens – featuring quality integrated Neff appliances and solid quartz work surfaces – as well as stylishly tiled wet rooms with spacious walk-in showers.”

Gusto CEO, Steff Wright said: “There is a real need for high quality retirement living developments and we have found that working with Keystone and our award winning design team we have been able to create a fantastic scheme, which will become a vibrant retirement community adjacent to Boultham Park.”
