First look: Former Lincoln Dexters transformed into The Scarlet Red Alehouse and Kitchen

Take a sneak peek at the new pub.

Home-cooked food and six hand-pulled ales will be on offer at the new Scarlet Red Alehouse and Kitchen opening its doors in Lincoln city centre tomorrow.

The pub will open on the site of the former Lincoln Dexters on Tuesday, September 26, following an investment of £130,000.

The lease has been taken on by Rebecca and Craig Robinson, who also manage the Lincoln Green pub in North Hykeham.

Take a look at our exclusive first look behind-the-scenes at the pub, one day before it opens.

Speaking previously to The Lincolnite, business owner Rebecca Robinson, said: “We’re trying to keep the standard pub mentality and offer home-cooked food at reasonable prices, but still offering good quality of food.

“We will be selling six hand-pulled ales, four lagers, a variety of ciders and many other bottle products.”

The pub restaurant will be open Monday to Sunday from 12 noon until 11pm.

More information on the menus and the pub itself can be found on The Scarlet Red website.
