Trains are still running through but at a reduced speed.

Police officers and Network Rail engineers are on the scene.

The road is expected to be closed for some time in both directions.

Network Rail said trains have been cautioned and are running but at a reduced speed.

Engineers are on scene repairing the barrier.

It is not clear if the cyclist was injured in the crash.

One eyewitness told reporters they saw a cyclist “chance it” at the last minute and become tangled in the barrier.
