Lincoln road closed after crash involving pedestrian

Injuries aren’t believed to be serious.

Emergency services rushed to an collision near City Hall in Lincoln amid reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

The incident happened at 12.45pm on Wednesday, October 4 on Orchard Street.

A police spokesperson told The Lincolnite they had “limited information” on the incident, but that the crash appeared to have involved one car and at least one pedestrian.

They added that while ambulances had been in attendance injuries were not thought to be serious.

Orchard Street was closed from City Hall to Newland for some time and police were seen on the scene speaking to a driver.

Police are dealing with this under incident number 210 of October 4.
