Families will be able to enjoy a magical Christmas morning at Lincoln Castle, designed specifically for young children with autism.

Lincoln Castle will open its gates on Saturday, December 16 an hour earlier at 9am so that families can make the most of a specially tailored environment.

Visitors can drop in on Father Christmas’ preparations in the Victorian Bath House until 9.45am where they can share Christmas wishes, have a photo and receive a Victorian-themed gift with the man himself.

Education spaces in the castle will again be equipped with sensory toys for those who need some time away or a safe space.

Within the Victorian Prison, visitors can also find Christmas-themed crafts with one of Father Christmas’ elves.

Visitors can get their own temporary ear defenders whilst attending the castle, which can be reserved by calling 01522 554559.
