Lincoln burglary CCTV: Police search for man after use of stolen credit cards

Police have re-circulated a picture of a man they believe to be local in connection to a burglary in Newport in Lincoln.

The theft happened on September 5 at 10am. A number of items were taken including a ladies handbag and the contents.

Police said stolen credit cards have been used following the burglary causing the victim even more distress.

Do you recognise the man pictured?

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “The man we wish to speak to is described as medium build, with short black hair combed back, aged between 25 and 30.

“We circulated this picture at the time of the offence hoping to speak to the person in the image.

“We believe he may be local and that he will have information that can help our enquiry.

“If you know who he is please call 101 and pass your information onto to PC 399 Lawrence.

“Alternatively contact the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org.”
