Lincolnshire will be impacted by strong winds over the next two days, the Met Office has warned..

The midlands and the south of England is subject to a yellow weather warning, which is in place between 9am on Wednesday, November 22 and 7am on Thursday, November 23.

Forecasters said: “Strong winds are expected to move east across England and Wales during Wednesday.

“The strongest winds will finally ease from the SE of England around dawn on Thursday.

“Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely whilst outbreaks of rain, occasionally heavy, will add to the difficult travel conditions.”

A yellow warning for rain is also in place between 8am and 11pm on Wednesday for the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Many places with a warning will see 25-50mm of rain with around 100mm of rain over higher ground.
