First look: Rooftop dining igloos with views of Lincoln castle and cathedral

A chance to dine under the stars in Lincoln.

Lincoln is a beautiful city, especially at night, and soon people will have the opportunity to dine under the stars with the view of the castle and cathedral.

The domes, which have been built at Lincoln TapHouse and Kitchen on St Paul’s Lane, are now available to hire and can be booked from 10am every day.

The three-and-a-half metre wide dining and party venues are made from timber and clear PVC and come complete with sheepskin blankets and built in heaters.

Patrons of the domes will be served an exclusive gin cocktail range and an a la carte menu.

Charley Delahey, General Manager at the Lincoln Tap House told The Lincolnite: “People can expect amazing views of the castle and cathedral and an exclusive cocktail range so they can enjoy a nice drink alongside the a la carte dining menu.

“The domes are very romantic and a perfect spot just in time for Valentines’ Day.

“It is free to book for tables of eight, and prices start from £25 for smaller bookings, to £150 depending on what you book for.

“We have also created four new jobs as part of this investment.”
