Injured man found in Lincoln city centre

Man injured.

Emergency services were called to St Mary’s Street in Lincoln after a man was found with multiple injuries.

There is some speculation he had been stabbed, but this has not yet been confirmed by officials.

Lincolnshire Police officers rushed to the scene at around 9.30am on Monday, January 8.

The man, aged 35, has been taken to hospital for treatment.

At the time of writing, Lincolnshire Police have said they are still in the process of determining where and how the man had been injured.

The force was not able to give any further information when first contacted by The Lincolnite. 

People at the scene told reporters an ambulance was called to the scene after the injured man walked into the area near to the train station.

Anyone with information that could assist enquiries is being asked to call 101 quoting incident number 76 of January 8.
